To upgrade the Church roof – both functionally and aesthetically – we used Paralon waterproofing and insulation with a Tegola Copper shingle. This material is ideal for use as a finish over bitumen membranes, and, with Paralon underneath, we can provide this unique finish for any pitch – from vertical to almost horizontal.
The church, which remained open throughout the refurbishment process, looks stunning. The copper has begun the ageing process, and will soon develop the classic green patina associated with copper finish.
