Inspired by a report which found patients who had views of vegetation recovered faster than those looking out over standard roofs, the Hospital Project design team required a Green Roof System. However, dealing with a “living” medium is a challenge for many roofing companies, and special care must be taken to ensure the greenery continues to thrive long after installation.
