On completion of the presentation we will record the names of attendees and issue CPD certs.

At present we have several presentations available to interested parties, these include:

We are constantly reviewing our CPD offerings, in order to keep them fresh and relevant. If there is a topic that you think we could present to you on, just ask.

Surveys can be requested to determine the condition of a particular roof. In undertaking a survey we will visit the roof in question and compile a report identifying the current conditions and offering a range of options with regard to recovery/refurbishment or replacement. Where thermal insulation is present in a roof build up (warm roof) we can utilise our state of the art thermal camera to give a pictorial representation of the condition of the underlying insulation. This level of detail can be critical in determining what course of action might be needed for any given roof. Moy Materials has 2 qualified thermographers on the technical team.

Electronic integrity testing is often a condition of contract for many new roofs. For older roofs, this form of testing can be used to pinpoint problems. We use a spark-tester to identify pinholes in all membranes and non metallic roof coverings (single ply, built up roofing, asphalt). Our trained team will assess your roof, conduct a spark test, identify areas needing repair, and submit with a written report.

We can act as an extra pair of eyes for the specifier or client, who needs to know that the system they have selected will be installed to the highest of standards. When requested, we will attend all relevant site meetings to answer queries relating to our area. At project start-up, we often give toolbox talks to the team undertaking the installation. We have found this to be very helpful in avoiding potential problems on individual sites.
