Liquid Waterproofing

Moy Materials have long been associated with high quality waterproofing membranes; however there are situations where a membrane simply won't do, maybe for reasons of practicality, health & safety, or just speed.

There are 2 basic types of liquid waterproofing, roller applied, and spray-on. We are happy to have a quality product in each category:

  • Kemperol liquid waterproofing is a resin based, polyester reinforced roller applied waterproofing system. The resin is applied wet on wet and is supplied in a variety of formulations, including solvent free, for use in occupied or sensitive buildings.

The Kemperol system is ideal for use on roof refurbishments, where access constraints limit the use of traditional roof systems .Also, with refurbishments, the solvent free Kemperol “2k pur” can be used in the most sensitive of areas, without fear of disruption to existing building users.- this is due to it being virtually odourless . In new build situations, Kemperol is ideal for weathering tricky details or larger areas where hot works are not permitted. Kemperol resin is manufactured from renewable resources; the fleece used is also manufactured from recycled materials.

  • The Stirling Lloyd Integritank system is a MMA resin system which is a cold spray Structural Waterproofing system that cures rapidly to form an exceptionally tough 100% effective waterproofing membrane .Integritank is ideally suited for use on podium and terrace areas, where speed of coverage is critical. Using Integritank will allow up to 2000m2 of podium to be fully weathered in a day. This system has been used to protect many prestigious commercial, residential and mixed development projects around the world.

Both the Kemperol and Stirling Lloyd systems are installed by Moy Materials trained and approved installers. Our stringent quality control procedures and onsite supervision will ensure that all works are carried out to the highest possible standard.
