Lake District Cheese Company

Project Brief

Moy Materials (Northern) recently supplied and monitored the installation of over 300m2 of our Imper Paralon, high-performance insulated felt system and 90m2 of our Kemper V210 Liquid Waterproofing at the Lake District Cheese Company, Wigton, carried out by SPV Group.

The Task:
Provide a robust, 2 layer felt system to the new boiler room roof and waterproof the adjoining pump room roof with a system suited to fine and difficult detailing.

The Solution:
Install a 20 year, high performance, insulated Paralon felt system to the new boiler room roof and install the Kemper V210, cold-liquid applied waterproofing system to the pump room roof to ensure 100% waterproofing integrity throughout.

Notes

Our cold applied liquid waterproofing system was selected to weather the pump-room portion of this project. The new roof was relatively straightofrward and the Paralon system was selected. Both systems were covered under a single-point Moy Materials warranty, which was issued to the contractor on completion of the project.
